My Little Fire "Man"

Jackson came home from pre-school today with a little paper punch out fire truck. He also brought home a coloring pamphlet about fire safety. He no sooner got home, and he began coloring. I was working with him on the concept of staying in the lines. We colored a picture of a fireman helping a woman out of a fire. Anyway, we finished that and went on with out daily routine into town to buy groceries, and out of the blue he tells his daddy,"We colored a picture today, and I am going to get my scissors an cut it out. I will cut the fire hat for you the fire man for mommy and I will when I cut the girl out she will be mine." I just laughed. My 3 year-old boy sounds just like a typical man aready.
